When Remington was sold off piecemeal, I had contacted people in the various "departments" from the businesses that bought the Remington groups. I had asked each one if they could help with any information pertaining to whether their group took possession of the Parker records. None of them had any idea what I was referring to nor could they direct me to someone who might have that information. When the offer to purchase the records was discussed, I was amazed that the shop reached out to sell them to the PGCA!! I felt very privileged to be in the loop as this process was going on.

Now if we could get any remaining records into the collection/data base, that would indeed be a massive win for the PGCA and it's members.

Kudos to the BOD for doing the deal and especially to John Davis for negotiating the deal and making this happen. John, I will shoot you in pool but don't ask me to play cards against you!!
