Bill with a nose like yours you would make a hell of a bird dog. One of the best at finding dead birds I ever had the pleasure of hunting with was found at the dog pound. Where did you come from?

My nose originated in the Northeast Pennsylvania hard coal and pigeon shooting region, Luzerne County and surrounding areas made famous by the Molly Maguires, a violent pro labor organization that survived into the twentieth century. My interest in these shotguns was a result of my grandfather's (1856-1929) participation in the pigeon shooting culture of the area. He hosted a pigeon ring in the rear of his saloon on Pine Street, Hazleton, Pennsylvania for many years.
