Brett, in my years as a firearms and reloading dealer, I do not recall ever having to assemble a new adjustable bar. I recommend you set the bar according to the instructions for the weights you want to throw and install it in the press and make a dry run (not actually loading hulls) and drop a cycle and weigh the results.

My advice I gave recently in another post: record settings in a book for each different powder and the grains thrown. When you have to use it again it saves a lot of time. But you must check it before assuming it is still correct, but will be close if not on the money.

Same for shot, as it will vary from one size to a different size.
