Dean,
There isn't much contrast. It is pretty much brown. I cleaned it with 0000 steel wool and
oil. It could use a barrel refinish at some time.
This gun is rare, but the 20 ga. parker steel barreled top lever hammer gun was even more so.

Jeff, glad I didn't bid again. That gun has a great new home. I did manage to acquire the Parker catalog from that auction. Much to my surprise, came with the order blank insert as well as the ejector announcement insert. Must admit, it was tough to let that 16 go. Least I know Ill see it next year...
