Most likely we did cross paths and just didn’t know it 😉

Some may not like the idea but how about name tags next year, as and like the competitors use?

I'll tell you the same thing I tell the people at PSC where I've been a member for 35 years . If you don't know me and you wanna know who I am just ask and if I think you need to know I'll tell you .

And don't take that personally because it's not meant that way . But I do not wear name tags , even at companies I've worked for I ALWAYS found a way to get out of it .

Craig, Great meeting you! As much as we talked I had not put you with your forum name. Now I’ll know and I really enjoyed our conversation. Mike

My first visit, albeit a short one, to the Southern. I was really impressed with the guns I saw and the several folks I got to speak with. I got there early on Friday and when I visited the Parker/Smith tent folks were still setting up. What I did get to see was impressive. I missed meeting anyone, but still enjoyed browsing.

I can sure see that there's a lot of behind the scenes work done for this event. I don't know who is responsible, but I offer my humble "thank you" to any- and everyone who helped with the organization and set-up. I hope you know that your work is appreciated.

I don't know very many people except old-timers like myself so I think name tags that we can wear to the various PGCA events we attend are a great idea.

Well that may be fine for a club that you have been a member of for thirty-five years and show up several times a week; but for an event that one attends once a year and may miss a year or others may miss, where several hundred people new to you are, it is impractical to approach everyone in that manner.

On our Parker team I had to ask others who half the great winning shooters were as they were shooting. Often the answer was "I don't know." I shook their hands but did not know many names.

On not wearing a badge where you work, great. You've obviously never worked where identification badges are a requirement and refusal to wear results in discipline.

Oh and by the way, I live within fifteen miles of your PSC and I never joined due to that same attitude of several members I met. Don't take it personally.

E.O.M. and conversation. Just my opinions. I'd gladly wear a Parker badge at any event.

We've met whether you're aware or not . Whether you apply for membership is your buisness now whether you're accepted or not is another matter . And for future refrence PSC is not mine alone but I am a stock holder .
