Hi Chuck, Are you sure the gun is staying fully open after the empty's are ejected. It seems to me that if there is enough clearance for the empties to eject there should be enough clearance to load new shells without hitting the top of the receiver. I suspect the barrels are closing a very small amount that is not noticeable. Cheers, Tom
