if I didn't know better, I'd almost swear the camera angle and flash bounce was "set up" to disguise this- sure looks like it to me--Dealer is somewhere in Illinois- too bad we lost Ed Muderlak- we could get him to do a "reece-run" to Just Target Guns- or perhaps- Just Tacky Guns- and check it out- everyone has their own tastes of course- but all that garish gold work- recalls what Patton said about a "Cheap pimp in a New Orleans Bordello with Mother-of-Pearl grips on his pistol"-- And to be fair, I have seen in both the Houchin's book on Elsies, and the Snyder book on Ithacas, some of those fine guns in uber-high grades with similar garish gold work- Not my 'thing"

Of course, reflecting on what one of my top three Generals that didn't serve in my beloved USMC- went Army, which is fine with me--I can only reflect on the late George S. Patton Jr. and his brash-outspoken manner, and wonder if there is, indeed, such a thing as an Expensive Pimp in the same Big Easy scenario---Patton did spend a lot of time at both Fort Polk in LA, and Fort Benning in GA before Decv 7th 1941-- huummmmm!!!!
