My one frame 30 inch 16 ga weighs 7 pounds 0 ounces. It has considerable swamp to a straight taper just forward of chambers. A straight taper 16 / one could go 7 1/2 or maybe 7 3/4 pounds. However, we know there are many heavy twenties on the 1 1/2 frame.
I didn't count but there seem to be about twice as many 20 / 32 inch guns as 16 / 32 inch guns. It may have been easy to get the desired weight on a 16/32 on a one frame, but necessary to go to the 1 1/2 to make weight on a 20/32

Best, Austin
