If you have problems with a Kautzky it might be best to send your Fox to an expert; it is one of the better vintage single triggers. Dan May comes to mind.
I've seen some mechanical variations inside the trigger plates as the earlier Fox-Kautzky was refined to the production design. If you're thinking of trying to convert it yourself I suggest pulling the trigger plate, study the mechanism and compare with a regular double trigger Fox to see what you're getting into and before removing the Kautzky mechanism. |

I have been looking at a Fox that has a lot of things I like but I would prefer a double trigger and wanted an idea of how much that would cost. Frank ,thanks for your response .
