Hi Garry,
Are you looking for a 44-77 bottle neck or 44-90 bottle neck cartridge? Both were popular Sharps calibers. I have some 44-77 ammo with case length of 2 1/4" and the overall length is length with the bullet is 2 7/8". Sounds like you have the 44-90. I would look at Buffalo Arms(they are out of stock, but I would reach out and see when more might be available, a good company to know about anyway): https://www.buffaloarms.com/ Rocky Mountain Cartridge can make brass: https://www.rockymountaincartridge.com/ Happy to help if I can! Good luck, Jay |

I suspect this is the 2 5/8-inch case you are looking for --
.44-90 Sharps necked.jpeg Don't see any for sale in the latest Ward's Auction. There is a box of .45 2 7/8-inch. |

According to my Cartridges of the World there was a .40-90 Sharps (Necked) and a .40-90 Sharps (Straight).
