Jerry ,If you go searching you want to have the right screw driver for the screw slot and also the trigger guard may be tight in the wood ,a little pressure on the rear of the guard with the palm of your hand pushing gently upward toward the rear trigger may help to lift the trigger guard out of the stock ! Always go easy the edges of the wood around the Trigger Guard are very thin. Best ; Russ
