None of my other Parker's make a click when the lever hits a point where the lever will stay to the right. On this gun the lever can be pushed right allowing the gun to open, however, if I don't go far enough to the right to the point where it "clicks" the lever will return to the center position and then the gun can't be closed until I move the lever right again.
In a nutshell none of my other Parkers will the lever return to center if the gun can be opened.
