Hi Unregistered,
On July 29th, this site will be moving..! No, really - it's "moving" to another physical location - including servers, gateways, routers - everything - including my coffee cup...
So, from the date of July 29th through July 30 or 31 (shooting for these dates, but - as always, I'm at the mercy of my ISP who has to install the lines to the new location - and we actually get them running ;) ). But - this site, cloud servers and main web will be OFF LINE.
Now, please save these dates!! Please - don't be "that guy" who emails me on the 30th to tell me you "can't open the Parker Website". I'll already know it is offline - and also know that you are "that guy"...
I'll take this notice up and down over the next week or so - and leave it up during the final few days before shutting it off on the 29th..
John D.

You guys are splitting hairs on grouse gun weight. The last time I was able to walk in the grouse woods, Kevin McCormack and I were hunting north of Greene, New York. I was carrying my favorite Sauer ten gauge loaded with 1 1/8 ounce RSTs and somehow survived.

I took my faithful Chesador named Radar for a walk this morning with a 9 lb 10 oz Super Fox in hand. Before too long I while Radar was sniffing for small animals I was holding the Super Fox in my left hand and pulling weeds from around my young spruce trees with my right. This went on for about an hour until I was quite sweaty. Deciding that was enough we walked back to the house. On the way a pigeon flew into an ounce and an eighth of #8's from the Super Fox. Radar was then a very happy dog!
I appreciate the two light 16's and two 20 gauges that sit in my gunsafe. I just shoot heavy guns better...
