We were hoping to receive the Winter Issue before the holidays but, to date, haven't got it yet I suppose the holidays delayed bulk mailings but when can we expect to receive it?
I'm sufferring serious withdrawal... no Parker Pages... no BBS until today
By the way, Greg, what a fantastic new site and BBS! Thank you so much for your hard work and diligence!
Best,
Dean

Dean,
Thanks, we are kind of running the BBS in trial mode for a few days here...
I have heard of a few people who have already received their Parker Pages, so it should be here soon. I can tell you the post office has not gotten them to IL yet. With the ice storms we have had this week maybe that slowed them down a little.

I received my Winter PP here in SE Michigan on the 4th. My first issue on sub and I was glad to get it. I really enjoyed the pictures of the "Kimble" gun and the article on damascus barrels because of the 1889 DH damascus I picked up in November. It was made about the same time as the Kimble gun and it is now in the hands of the great Oscar Gaddy. If he can work the same magic on my gun as he did on the Kimble gun...Oh, I don't even want to think about the possibility.
Tally ho!

Arrived here in Idaho today, appears to be up to Parker Standards. Only got a quick look as we have lots of snow, and waterfowl hunting is excellent. I'm headed out for the afternoon flight, will get a good read tonight when I get home. Best DCL Last edited on Sun Jan 9th, 2005 01:49 am by Long Range1

John maybe you need to thicken up the blood a little. Come on up and we can hunt some Pheasants and you can read my copy of PP.

Rich, don't tempt me. You may wake up to find a Georgia Cracker and his black lab camped out on your front door step.

I have had my PP over a week now and have reread it a coupla times. Everytime I look at it I discover another item I had not noticed before ie in the up comming events collum, the PGCA proposed meeting in July which I hope does happen as planned. This gives a breather before the Vintagers in Sept. Last year things got a little crowded between the PGCA in Louisville and the Vintagers and it caused a fellow to feel like he's on tour with his Parkers. At this time I do not have the dates for the Michigan UP shoot but maybe one of you Parkerphools could fill us in and hope for no crowding of these events.
Anyway the PP are sure a pleasure in the life of a Parker Phool. Another great job Austin. RogerCoger

I just sent my check in last week, to join this fine, friendly, and educational organization. Do you think I will recieve the current issue of elusive Paker Pages, or will I have to wait till the next issue?
