Bill, see http://www.pointerbrand.com for American made qood quality jeans and jackets. They even make overalls, like a nattily dressed gentleman would wear to a formal Vintagers shoot. I've been looking for setter brand jeans, but haven't found them yet. Attached Image (viewed 111 times):

Pheasant Fest is Feb 26-28 in Des Moines Iowa. We've sent in the application and asked to be next to Beth Whitehead, a premier wildlife and dog photographer. If you haven't seen her work, its quite impressive.
Maybe we'll show the PGCA Browning gun again and maybe that D hammer gun if its fixed up, not my say and its above my pay grade. Anyhow, we'll try to put on a first rate display so hope to see all who can make it, and if you have some nice guns, please consider helping out with the display. We'd love to have over a hundred members come through and if we can get enough commitments in advance, I'll bet we could all meet for Sat dinner someplace.
So Bill Bolyard, is this cute enough? And I don't mean to hog this, other people's cute pups are welcome.

Love to see you there Dick. But bring that C grade damascus lifter with you. What a great gun, got to be one of the better Parkers around.

I will most likely bring it but in light of the shipping problem being discussed on another thread I'm even getting nervous about my airline checking of guns. But if you take no chances you have no fun I guess. RD

Bruce,
Great looking setter pup! How have you been doing? I intend to get up to Des Moines for the Pheasant Fest and will volunteer to help man the booth for awhile if you need. That's a good time as the bird seasons will all be about over by then.
Get that pup on some birds this summer - he and you will have a blast!

Good to hear from you, Wes. Come on back up to SoDak again.
Would be great to see you at PF in Des Moines and having folks man the booth for a few hours allows others to see the exhibits. I first met the kennel people for my new pup at Pheasant Fest in Madison. They had some kennel people there with English line Labs that I was impressed with. A friend just lost his old Lab and I recommended them. If a fellow is thinking about a new dog, its a good place to go to talk and see different breeds and think about what is right for you.
Thanks Bill. Cute pup for sure.
