Many of you have seen this gun before, but I wanted to share it again. This was done by Del Grego many years ago and had not seen the light of day until I took it from my Uncle Taylors estate. After it took a 10 gauge event at the Southern, I had Dale Edmonds redo the barrels as Del Grego had blued them. I don't mind these cynide colors.

Harry; I agree the colors on your hammer gun are very nice, you don't see the tiger striping, my gun had no striping or at least very little on the right side and the bottom of the reciever was  nice mottled grays and light blues, but the left side was striped the whole legnth of the reciever, and really took away from the gun,at least in my eye! Very nice gun by the way, I have a set of Damascus barrels at Dale's right now for a EH ,Grade ,I hope mine are in good enough condition to turn out as nice as yours !

If anyone wants to tone down the cyanide case colors on their gun I can recommend giving it to a sweaty-hand 12 year old boy. Mine took the colors off a Merkel in one afternoon's shooting.
