Any of you guys coming to the Lapeer SxS Shoot on April 4th - I'll sell you a box of BP loads for $8- about what I've got in them. I'm trying to talk Jay into it. Dave, Eric, Rich, Kurt, wait, I think Kurt is gonna out of his 10ga- anyone willing? I'll even help and show you how to clean your gun when done. I've got about 30 boxes of smoke loaded. We have a trophy for highgun shooting BP. Anyone up to the challenge? Paul

Dear Paul, Thanks for an invitation I can't accept as I am too far away. Your offer of $8.00 a box for shells is very generous as I can;t load for that price. I would that I could be there as I love nothing better than BP and ten gauge shotguns. Perhaps you will get more responses than you can fill the orders for the shells. Good luck! David

Thanks for thinking of us Paul..

I am planning on shooting 12ga BP and have some loaded. Not sure if I have enough though. I do not currently have a 10ga with open chokes.

See ya in a few weeks,

Kurt

I'll be there with the Lifter 16, and a few other 16 gauge guns. But I'm not planning on shooting smoke. I love to shoot it, but hate the mess. So, it will be clean powder for me. ;)

If I could sit and drink beer, while Paul cleaned the guns, I might reconsider. ;)

You're on Dave. Sounds like Richard doesn't like shooting a shell for real men. Paul

Don't bother loading 16 BP, as I have a couple 12's I can bring. Besides, I said I might reconsider. I didn't say to sign me up. :D

Paul,

If you've got 10 gauge blackpowder shells I'm in. I don't have a hammer 12 gauge though.

Be looking forward to seeing you. Now, about that "wishy washy Dave" and "no answer" Eric, Rich and Jay. How about it ? And the invite is open to anyone. Paul

I'll be there but I don't have a 10 and rarely shoot a 12. Therefore if you want to provide ALL the fixins I'm in:).

Didn't know there was any other gauges than 10 or 12. What do you shoot ? How it isn't that one that shoots like a 20 and kicks like a 12. Paul

A 16 is a big gun for me although I now own a couple of 12's and shoot them occasionally. I confess to liking the lifter;). My usuall guns are 20's and 28's and none of them kick like a 12. How can something shoot like a 20 and kick like a 12?:?.

All,

I wish I could be there just to watch the banter! Would not even need to shoot, just to watch all of that smoke in the air.

I am skiing in a downhill race in Colorado, leaving on the 4th, I will be thinking of you all!!! Have fun, maybe next year.

Bob, Just drop that gun of yours off at my house before you leave. I'll take it to Lapeer and make sure it's working properly for you. I'll even use my own shells. ;)
