Pretty, very typical C wood.
Maybe we could see the wood on Tim Sheldon's B?

Gordon Smith sends us the bird.
I know nothing about the gun, Gordon emailed it to me for showing. I don't get to see many nice guns out here on the prairie except a few old beaters.

Very nice 28ga!!! Dang!!! She's purrrrrdy!!!
Gordon, my trap gun does not have the bird and I wish it did. Oh well. It had all the other goodies that I was looking for and I could not let that stop me.

Timothy;
If your trap gun don,t have the flying pigeon its a higher grade than the ones I have. Both mine are grade 4.. A 30" and a 32".

Not sure if it's because of the case colors but the chain link border seems to stand out more on this gun. It's sore one sweet gun....

Gordon, would you be so kind as to show us the left and right sides of the frame? That is such a lovely little Parker and we would really like to see more of it.
Thanks, Dean

Here is a side shot of Gordon Smith's trap gun. It was a lot clearer in the e-mail picture Gordon sent me - I don't know what happened to make it fuzzy. Attached Image (viewed 326 times):

Gordon, early C Grade Traps did not have a pigeon on the bottom. They were scroll engraved on all surfaces. I don't know when the pigeon first appeared.

Another view. Ducks. This ought to get Destry's heart pumping, and is a lot safer than an 18 year old Latina.

Bruce that gun is really nice. Whats the length of the barrels? Attached are a couple of shots of my new 12 gage. In fact this is the gun I intend to beat Mr. Dunkle with at his own shoot.
