Likewise, I also should have specified. There were a couple of humorous posts as I'm sure Alex will probably agree. No offense intended Bill.

Wow! This thread struck a cord with me.Being the father of a 16 year old son who willingly comes with me to a bunch our shoots and gun shows and also knows a lot of you guys. I was kind of suprised by the responses of some.

Please lets not be so smug. After all isn,t the PGCA about the free exchange of knowledge and info.

If not for the young guys who will carry on after we are all gone. Alex you can PM me any time and if I can be of any help just ask.

Alex,

Remember this.  Know one knows you're a dog on the internet.  Your representations about how you're a wee lad fall on deaf ears.  Some others on this board may fall for this tripe.  But, I stand behind my statements.  A discussion is built upon the generation of trust.  To date you have withdrawn more than you have deposited.

Destry,

I'll see you in the north.  Don't forget to bring your size 11s.  I suggest that "Alex" is nothing more that a troll that has taken us for a merry ride.  But, I'll keep in mind your comments, on our next encounter.

Phil

Wee lad I am not. At 6'5" 215 lbs, I feel bigger than a wee lad. I'm sorry that I was mistaken in my interpretation of this site. I didn't know you could only get as much information as you provide. How about this, if, in the future, you see I have posted a topic- don't feel compelled to click. It is very clear I have nothing of value to offer, so you might as well just skip it. And if you doubt my age, go over to Uplandjournal.com, and ask there. There are a good 20-30 members I have met in person there, many of them multiple times.

I'm not hurt by this thread, just surprised. I can assure you all I have thicker skin than that, and that I can appreciate humor.

And many wonder why the history of shotgunning and hunting is declining...

Alex,

It appears that the smoke has flushed an out sized troll.  I don't expect any apologizes.  I believe that if one lives by the sword....

Alex, through no fault of yours this thread has reached a new low for this BBS. Please ignore the negative comments an continue to participate as young men like you are the future. All of us need to respond as civilized adults in a courtious manner as our organization is judged every day by how we represent ourselves here. Larry

Larry,

You have missed the point.  Alex is not that lad that he represents himself to be.  He has repeatedly teased us with hidden auctions and asked us what he should bid.  This is not a case of a youngster interested in Parkers.  BTW, he engages is this behavior on other sites, as well.

Phil
