I checked my 12 Repro. It balances exactly at the center of the hinge pin.

Of the ones I've handled..haven't come across a Repro that didn't balance at the pin w/ 26" barrels or just beyond the pin w/ 28" barrels. All balanced well & I'll agree they come to shoulder nicely.
Cannot speak to guns w/BT having only handled one sub gauge. A consideration exclusive to the 12 ga would be the thickness of the comb which is a bit beefier than the sub gauges making lop a bit more important for instinctual shooters. |
