Guess not.
I have the three screws out. But I am unable to get the plate loose. Is there a trick to it? Thanks |

Through the slot in the frame that the barrel lug fits into you can tap the plate from above using a wooden dowel and a light mallet. It should then drop out easily.

Careful not to use a sonic cleaner on those side plates. This practice is reported to break/fracture the springs.

Thanks, that is what I needed.
Interesting about the sonic cleaner. I have not had any issues in the past. Thanks, I have some small brushes that can do the job. Dwight |

The trigger plates on hammer guns are usually VERY tightly fit into the frame. More so than the hammerless guns. I don't think there was one yet that I have broken down that came apart easily.

OK, guessing I should have removed the barrel lug prior to this. I see a pin that is hidden by the side plate. I assume that holds the lug in place and I should remove it and that will open up the slot to tap on the trigger plate. Right?
Thanks for your help. |

No.... you should be able to fit a rod or doewl in there to tap out the trigger plate.
Right down through that rectangular opening where you can see the yellow towel is where you will put the dowel through and tap out the trigger plate. .
