Default New guy from Ohio

Hello all, same story I’m sure you have heard too many times. I have a Parker Brothers shotgun that I’m trying to figure out the value on. I know nothing about shotguns, I’m a Smith&Wesson revolver person. I look forward to learning from the folks here.

This is a great forum to learn about and appreciate the Parker shot gun. What part of Ohio are you from. I grew up, and worked entire career in Belmont County on the Ohio River.
Tell us about your Parker, and post some pictures.

HI and welcome. I am in the southwestern part of Ohio. Interested where you are from also. Pictures of all parts are important for members to give you advice on your gun.

I’m in central Ohio, I have fished the Ohio river many times in your old stomping grounds. My Parker was handed down to me from my Grandfather, using this site I have been able to figure out it was made in 1929, it is an AH model on a 1 1/2 size frame, the barrels are made from Acme steel. It has a single trigger and is hammerless. That’s where I’m at to this point, will get some pics uploaded soon.

Can't wait to see the pictures. The AH model is a higher grade. Nice Grandfather!

I will try and get some photos this evening, have a plumber working at the moment. A little more back story on the Parker, it has been shot exactly 4 times in its entire life.
