I have a P twist that was sold to them according to the letter. If, in your research, you unearth any listing by serial number of who they sold guns to I would find it interesting.

If you are talking about who Parker Bros. sold guns to, a search of the Order Books is the only source. If you are talking about who E.K. Tryon sold guns to, an original receipt to the buyer is probably the only way to document the sale. THOUSANDS of Parker Guns were shipped to Tryon; one single order listed in the Order Books goes on for over 17 pages.

Thanks everyone. The answer to my original question (for those interested) would be; Their address in 1901 was 10 & 12 North 6th St.
After the death of E. K. Tryon Jr., the name was changed to Edw. K. Tryon Company. (1905) Does anyone know when Edw. k. Tryon finally closed their doors for good? My research has uncovered three very different dates; 1925, 1936 and 1955. |
