Yes some times I have to do this when I roll crimp my shorts.
I just put in my shot in by hand. With my Mec 650 They all come out nice and no compliants from the fellas who are shooting my loads either. |

I emailed them (MeC) if T shot - .20 diameter would fit.in there 1 1/4 oz bushing. But if not how are people loading buckshot with them? The sp10 wad says for a 1 5/8 oz but for a 1 1/4 oz load wouldn't there be to much space for the shot? In the data it says when to use a 16 ga fiber wad .im guessing for this issue but for load 81 it doesn't.

If I do use it for deer I wont use/load foster slugs. They put grooves in one of my 3.5" 10 ga. I wont to load T shot for rabbits squirrels other things around.that size.I might use my bps10 as a buckshot gun for deer. I got 4 different chokes for it. I actually found a sxs underlever 8 ga for 1550$ its a P.Webely. If I get it my 10 ga'S probably wont be shot for awhile. Or if that deals falls through I found a baker 10 ga. Weird looking gun though

Milton,
I never believe a MEC fixed weight charge bar. The only one that I have that is right on the money is the 1/2 oz .410. The 1 ounce bars cheats the load. The 1 1/8 oz. bars only throws 1 1/16 and I have three of them. I use the adjustable bars for small shot. The powder bushing chart is off also. It looks as if to avoid suits they make everything throw a lesser amount. For hevi shot, large shot, and buck shot I bought an electronic food scale from Walmart (chinese I hate to say) and I measure out each load. I load custom buckshot loads for the 12 ga 3.5". Odd ball stuff like 18 #1s with 8 or more #3s. 2 buck with 4 buck, etc. Anyway, I put 2 1/4 ounces of whatever I want in there. They will rock a deer. |
