A thought to consider would be that Parker had a [ make as new ] option if you returned gun to them. I never hear this mentioned from the more seasoned members. Just a thought.

I'm sure they did Bob. Maybe Mark could chime in hear to let us know if he has ever seen that in his research.

What got my attention reading the TPS was the returning of a Parker shooters gun and the used gun run threw the shop to be sold latter, wonder if it was sold as used.

A letter might tell... but maybe not. There are a lot of Parkers that went back to have most any kind of repair or refurbishment done from restocking, rebrowning barrels, recoloring the frame, add ejectors, remove rib extension, shorten barrels, recut checking, remove dents from barrels... to complete restore or return for credit against purchase of another Parker.
