Nice to be trading info with other Parker Reproduction enthusiasts. I have 5 PR's collected over the last 5 yrs or so but I suspect there is much that I can learn here.

Question - one of my guns is 12 ga DHE that has beaver tail fore end and pistol grip stock, a combination that seems to be somewhat unique, albeit, I am basing that by what I am seeing for sale on the various web sites - could be thousands of them and I just haven't seen them yet

Can anyone enlighten me as to the rarity (or commonalty) of this configuration and if it adds any desirability when pricing for resale. I note in the original sales brochures that the beavertail was a $187 option. Yes, I am planning on selling this one.

Thanks in advance for any and all input and looking forward to learning more about these great guns.

Larry,
Welcome aboard!!
Your configuration is not "rare". In my years of Parker Repro interest I have seen many. Value of most 12 GA Repros fall with a narrow range with little impact by much more than double vs single trigger. The exception to this observation relates to the " steel Shot Special" and the " Sporting Clays" models. These bring a premium.

Bob,

Thanks for the feed back. I have arrived at the same conclusion about this gone - not that unique or valuable.

Still nice to have validation from other experts.
