Has anyone heard what the dates for the Vintagers SxS Shoot will be? Or if there is even going to be a shoot this year after last years poor turn out.

I just got an e-mail from Ray yesterday about this. The 2014 Vintage Cup will be held Sept. 25-29, 2014 at the Dover Furnace Shooting Shooting Grounds, 30 Ore Bed Rd., Dover Plains, NY. It's in the vicinity of Sandanona (imagine that!!) and other good sporting clays grounds. There is also a writeup about Dover Furnace Club in the latest issue of Shooting Sportsman magazine.

As always, don't bother to look on Ray's website for information. Also, it seems to be opposite the Fall Southern.

I love the Vintagers and when it was at Pintail, I attended with my father and son. Unfortunately, Rhode Island or upstate NY are just too far to drive for a weekend of clays. Of course, it's selfish to want it to remain close by. Wherever it goes, I hope they have a great turnout and the Vintagers continues for many years.

That is also the weekend of the PGCA Annual Meeting and Banquet being held in conjunction with the Chantilly Show and our Banquet will be held at the NRA Museum where we can absorb ourselves in some fabulous guns, including the Peterson Collection and the Invincibles.

Not to mention the Raffle Gun drawing, the Annual Silent Auction, and some awards will be presented as well.

I'll be at the Annual Meeting and Banquet for sure!

I'm sorry I was wrong about the Vintagers conflicting with the Fall Southern. The conflict was with a tentative date for the Fall Southern. The Fall Southern seems to be rescheduled to October.
