Default Yooper Photos - Shooting

The 2102 Upper Peninsula Side by Side Classis or as it is commonly referred to, the “Yooper” was a wonderful time for the 100+ entrants! The photos presented hopefully portray at least a small part of the fun experienced.

The first thread is devoted to the shooting events which were; Sporting Clays, 76 Bird Flurry, and the Pigeon Rings. We’ll start with the Sporting Clays:

There was a little waiting but overall the shooting went smoothly…

Here’s Terry waiting his turn at Station 2 with Cadence looking on. Terry was shooting ac custom made 32” Spanish gun.

This is Station 5 with Station 9 in the background.

Eric shooting the high overhead target on Station 5

Station 7

Mike Koranda swinging on a bird.

No more bird!

Tim shooting Station 6

Station 9

Station 10’s Rabbit

This is the 76 Bird Flurry in two and a half minutes!

I shot a third time without anyone loading for me. The gun is a Fox XE upgrade named Blondie with which I broke 29 targets.

Just swing on them even if I get started late!

Sometimes one pays the piper for too many high shots!

Yours truly…

It’s gone!

Daryl shooting with Rich “stuffing”!

Notice the shot leaving the barrel!

Finally, there are the Pigeon Rings!

Yup, me again but with big medicine for the Pigeon Rings, a Parker EH 10 Gauge!

Mike shooting with Rick in the foreground.

That’s Len in the center with the white sleeves with Larry Brown on his left.

Getting ready to shoot!

Greg loading

It looks like Steve Cobb has done this before!

The handsome guy shooting is me! Notice the floppy sun hat. The soft brim allows me to get the SLR camera up to my eye without adjusting the hat.

Mark, Thanks for the pics!! I've got that shoot on my "bucket list" ... one of these days I'll get there.
