Default Hunting Season is officially here

God has blessed me with another hunting season. Our first cover in the New Hampshire woods provided 5 pointed grouse by my little pointer Dottie and 1 of them stuck around long enough for an opportunity with my new to me VH 28. I didn't have enough tiime to get a picture of Dotties point because when I got to her she was intensely stretched out on point and I knew the bird was close. I did manage to get a couple nice pictures of woodcock finds by pretty little English Setter Sunny on a woodcock find. God is good. IMG_2085.jpg

Nice Parker 28! It didn't come from Tennessee by chance?

Maryland I believe. I like it a lot. O frame, 26" barrels. As a bonus from my perspective, it was advertised as IC/IC but the chokes measure .016 in each barrel. I looking forward to shooting sporting clays with it and patterning it.

Savor the days, Dan. They go by fast.
