Fox Gun Collectors Jacket Patch.....
Several of the guys on here wanted me to let them know when the Fox patch was ready to order so here ya go.
PLEASE READ ENTIRE MESSAGE
They will be made available on pre order for 30 days from today, payment is by check or money order only, please include a shipping label of some type with your payment. The price on these is a bit more than some of the others have been due to it's high embroidery coverage and more detailed design.
They are $75, shipping is included in the price.
You do not need to message me about an order, just send payment and I'll add you to the list when it arrives.
I will hold all checks until the 30 days are up, then I will cash them and make the formal order. Delivery time will be about six weeks, this is a very slow manufacturing process.
These are a statement type patch, very large at over 10 inches across.
These are MADE IN THE USA by a tiny company with about four employees on 75 year old hand oriented machines by a lady who's almost as old as the equipment itself. Literally each color is put on individually, the manufacturing process from first stitch to last cut is about 4 hours per patch. I know they're expensive, but I assure you they're well worth the price when you get them on your jacket. This manufacturing process is how patches of this type were made back in the 20's and 30's, it took me two years to find anybody still capable of this work. This is almost folk art, and it's definitely a dying art. They will be embroidered with 100% wool thread on a cotton / wool blend felt.
Here's the catch, to get this price I have to get 30 orders. If we don't get 30 then I'll return everybody's payment no harm no foul.
Make payment to:
Destry L. Hoffard
5150 Carpenter Rd.
Ypsilanti, MI 48197
I will give this post one bump a week till the 30 days are up.
