Default What did you all pick up at the Southern?

Any interesting Non-Parker guns come home with you from the Southern?

I was fortunate to acquire these two.

An austrian 20g hammer gun with 30” krupp barrels. If you look close, every one of the small squares on the frame has a silver inlaid cross in it. I am just a sucker for highly ornate European guns!

And a beautiful Lindner Daly hammer gun in 12g with Bernard (marked laminated) barrels. 30”. It is so far proving to be a great shooting gun for me.

Interesting transition of steel and horn on that trigger guard.

I had a reallly nice drop barrel action in 14 gauge once with a similar setup. It was really nice when you removed it because it was held by one screw at the back. The front of the horn had a blind half round dovetail into the metal section. I suspect looking at it that this is fashioned in somewhat the same way.

32 inch Smith hammer gun from a fine member here. I've shot it about 200 times the locks look like new on the inside. It's at Gunters getting fitted to more like me. A gun that I wound not have known of if I wasn't a member of this great organization.

This is nowhere as nice as Brian's Daly but I have a soft spot for knives. 1970's model liner lock, single blade Case.
