Craig, I'm not real knowledgeable on the Fox guns and am wondering about the mark on the barrel flats "Barrels not guaranteed See tag".
Any ideas?

I was told by several Fox collectors far more astute than myself that three inch guns had that so Fox would not be held accountable for them to pattern I think 70 or 80 percent at I believe it was 40 yards . Supposedly that was something to do with Nash Burt Becker and Bo-Whoop .

My friend was in with his gauge today and he was within .002” of my readings . So it is .045 and .055 ! I’m at the gun club now and just finished shooting a regular round of skeet and a doubles round of skeet from 3 , 4 and 5 . The chokes in that gun make doubles skeet from the middle a lot easier

The old Remington Model 32TC I got a couple weeks ago has in excess of .045 in both barrels also . There’s THREE things wrong with Fox ! #1 they didn’t make an 8 gauge , #2 they didn’t make a 10 gauge and #3 they didn’t make a 28 gauge .

Craig, I couldn’t agree more strongly about your opinion regarding the 28 gauge! What an awesome little Fox that would be in any grade!
I’m not a big bore fan so much but I know there plenty of others who would also agree with you on the 10 and the 8.

Well you can get a 28 Fox from CSMC but that's way above my pay grade. I'm happy with the Parker and the Perazzi 28's. They'll do for now.

Yes sir your little Perazzi is a nice feeling gun as well .

I'd like to try a K-20 28 gauge with 30 or 32 inch barrels sometime .
