Beautiful setter! So, were you in Michigan? I assume Ohio's woodcock season doesn't start this early(?)

Thanks, Garry. And yes, we were in Michigan. Upper portion of lower peninsula. Lots of grouse and woodcock. Great dog work. Great company. Beautiful scenery. Decent weather (cool mornings, but a bit too warm in the afternoon).

October is something of a lull here between early dove season and quail/duck season. Deer season is in full swing though. With some luck, we’ll get one soon
