Default Ballistic Products PT1044 Wad no longer?

Checking the BPI website and I noticed the PT1044 wad, similar to the SP10 wad is not just out of stock, it is no longer listed as being sold.

Yes Sir. They just recently changed the site. Depressing, I like that wad and have been watching, hoping some would come in. SP-10s aren't to be had. Who else makes a cushion shotcup 10 ga. wad? Anyone?

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t that wad made by Gualandi ? I’ve had them on backorder with BPI for awhile as I wanted to try them .

It doesn't seem like it's good news for 10ga reloading. Maybe you could call BPI about the status of your backorder and let us know what they say.

I just dug out a partial bag of the PT1044s and they have the BP logo large and centered. In small print down with the normal disclaimer says "Made in Denmark". Small print above the BP stuff says Schoeller Plastic something, can't read the last word as print on plastic bag is semi-gone. I looked at their website, appears they are a large injection molding business that makes everything from totes and pallets to squirt bottle tops.

The back orders were only good for sixty days . The thing ran out in may . I just went and tried to renew the back order and it wouldn’t do it .
