Default Damascus with NO pattern?

I just bought a nice G Grade (or is it a GH?) and the rib clearly states "Damascus Steel" but I can't find any pattern anywhere on the barrels (30"). They looks blued. All serial numbers match. What gives?

Someone blued the barrels? Wouldn't be the first time. Photos?

Nothing to worry about. There are a few guys that can redo your barrels so they look like they should.

Dale Edmonds can work wonders on those. I can see the old pattern too.

There are a number of others worthy for the task too, but I have first hand knowledge of Dale's work

I see the Damascus pattern too. Maybe they were 'browned' a bit too brown. If you want to see the Damascus pattern you should send the barrels to Dale Edmonds or Brad Bachelder to have the barrels refinished. With shipping should cost in the $400 range.

Sam
I would not worry about the finish on the barrels as much as the head of your stock has been pinned in two places or are them some type of chip repairs or something else ?
