They are less plentiful, but not really rare. They are seen on some of the early hammerless Parkers and some of the toplever hammer Parkers, as Brian says.

One feature of the fishtail toplever is that it allowed a hunter afield to carry the gun loaded but broken open with both hammers cocked; when a bird got up, all that was necessary was to close the gun quickly and pull the trigger(s) for a shot.
