Default New-Sometimes I'm Just Lucky!

Shout out from the Shenandoah Valley VA! First Parker ever. It appears to be an intact, original 1908 grade 2 GHE 12ga with damascus barrells. But, I have limited knowledge of these things other than they are valuable to some degree. This one came into my shop 2 weeks ago.

I am unable to enlarge the pictures to take a better look. The stock(1st pic) looks to be in better shape than the rest of the gun. Is the exterior barrels rough, or is it just the picture. How are the bores?

Its the pics. I used the suggested size and its small. Plenty of patina here but all is well and the butt stock for some reason photographs well but in person does not stand out.

Question for the group, what does one of these mid-grade models bring these days? I kinda want to keep it but if decent value , may consider selling.

If it came in your shop, did you not already buy it?

Someone brought it in for sale and did not want much for it. So, yes, I bought it.

It appears as though the breech end of the barrels still have burnishing marks. That could be a sign of limited use.

Yes, they are there. I lightly oiled it up today and revealed a wild damascus pattern on the underside.
