Default SN 121,835 C 20

A little diversion.

SN 121, 835, CHE 20/26 damascus. 12 made, maybe 4 known remaining. In A&F case with A&F marked oil bottle, snap caps and ebony cleaning rod.

Will be shooting Kansas pheasant and quail with it again. Dunkle can fire away, as I have a case of Federal 6's and Morris Baker even gave a box of RST paper 71/2's to see if they work. The gun is choked .006 and .022. The order sheet shows RH 120 and LH 200 at 3/4oz 8's. I will shoot the RST 3/4oz loads in it for targets but for hunting but I don't seem to reload 3/4 worth a darn, so I either load 7/8 or buy the Feds or buy RST's when I see Morris.

The gun was sold originally to Tryon in Philadelphia and was owned by Bill Wheeler for many years.

I don't own some of the nicer newer looking guns like that 28ga, so I suppose this will have to do. With a recent Bernard small bore acquisition, I have all that I need or want. I thought about having the case leather redyed and polishing the brass, but I suppose I'll just leave things the way they are.

As you know , I love the C grades and that is a great one. I just got a CHE 12 skeet two barrel set and will post some pictures shortly. I wish I could find a case like that!

NICE!!

I'd like to heft it next time we get together. I liked that gun a lot but just couldn't decide.

Price was right too!

I will bring it to Sandford. I collect C grades and it is a nice addition to the collection and not so pristeen that I can't shoot it . I was happy with the price.
