Default Not a Parker but...

I was able to take a Woodcock last weekend with this little H&R 28 ga. Hammer gun. Had a chance at a grouse but missed
Once I was able get me one, I quickly went back to my old standby 16 ga. Trojan. Using a double hammer gun in the thick early cover was a little unnerving for me. I think I will wait til I can get better acclimated to using it in some planted bird situations before I take it back into the grouse woods again, but it was very satisfying.

Nice job! Hammer guns are fun to hunt with - I'll be trying out a new (to me) hammer Parker this weekend in Vt.
