Default What is this called?

Years ago I was given my first Parker along with a cleaning rod and cleaning implements. One implement used to clean the bore I have never seen before or since. It is a spring loaded "pad" with a fine brass screen over the pad that scrubs & polishes the bore. I have one in 12ga and one in 16ga.

Does anyone know what these were called and/or who made them?

That is the 'Tomlinson Patented Gun Cleaner'. I have two of them in their original boxes. One is made by B.G.I. and the other is from Union Hardware.

Wow! By Brownell's standards you could trade those off for a nice Parker gun!
