New grouse book
Andrew Wayment, the brother of PGCA member, Shawn wayment, birddogdoc, has released a new book on grouse hunting in the west, "Idaho Ruffed Grouse Hunting: The Heartbeat of the Woods." I know Andrew only by subscribing to his blog, and reading some of his other articles in magazines, such as the RGS magazine. He is a very good writer, and very readable. I bet brother Shawn makes it into this book also. I have already ordered my signed copy, and am betting many of you would greatly enjoy the book also. From some of his blogs, it would appear that Shawn is starting to "corrupt" him into a SXS fan.
You could probably Google the book or find it on amazon, or go to his Upland Ways blog. I hope it arrives before I go to Hilton Head in Sept, a great read before bird season starts in earnest in Oct.
