Default Stolen Parker - C Grade Lifter 10ga SN 13589

Friends- I have had a Grade 4 10ga Lifter, SN 13,589 stolen from FedEx. The gun was being delivered by the FedEx driver to the recipient’s address when the driver forged the recipient’s signature and drove away with the gun. We have it all on video surveillance. FedEx is refusing to cooperate with the detective assigned to the case but that is a different story.

If the gun shows up at the Southern side by side or anywhere else, please let me know. I will gladly give a reward for its recovery.

Josh—so sorry to hear this. I recall you had a 5-E Ithaca single stolen last year! I can’t understand FedEx’s refusal to assist in this matter. A woke antigun corporation? Wish you luck my friend.

I presume the BATF and FBI might be interested in this blatant theft of a firearm, antique or not.

Dean - ATF’s only concern in the matter of a stolen firearm has been that the licensee has filed the appropriate paperwork. They did not assist in any way in the previous gun I had stolen at FedEx in Memphis. ATF will not do anything in this case because the gun was made prior to 1898.

The ATF are not our friends. Neither is fedex. I had an ATF agent stand in my store and tell me "I know you don't sell guns used in crimes. I don't care,a gun is a gun to us" As Josh said, all they care about is getting the paperwork done.

Josh, tell us about your experience with your insurance company in these two thefts. Maybe tell us the name of your insurance carrier.

that has been my experience in almost all government transactions. they don't care about right or wrong , common sense , or helping you in any way. just submit the correct form.

I don't know if people are paying attention, but being a criminal is no longer a bad thing to our law enforcement it would seem. I don't even want to get started on the nonsense going on in my home town of STL.

Josh, best of luck with this, it's a real shame that criminals are protected more then we are these days.

I had a local FFL tell me about a FedEx situation he recently had. This dealer works out of his house and sells many lines of new guns on the web. He also runs his day job from his home as well. He had a FedEx driver drop $38,000.00 worth of new Rizzini B. shotguns on the curb next to his trash cans he had set out for trash day. He wouldn't have known this if he hadn't had the surveillance camera system he has. He reviewed the video and saw that the driver signed the handheld scanner & drove off. He barely beat the trash truck to the guns; you can imagine what would have possibly happened if he hadn't.

Last week I had 8lb of 20/28 powder from Brownell's delivered by FedEX. This one was another first for me. Not only did the driver need to have me sign for it, he also needed I.D. from me and had to scan my I.D. into his handheld scanner.

Shipping guns has become a crap shoot, you never know what's going to happen. I'm thinking that there's a whole bunch of these drivers and others at these shipping companys who have taken the anti-gun stuff into their own form of activism or for personal profit knowing that the chances of getting caught or charged is slim to none.

Good luck on tracking down your gun Josh!!
