Default New Vintage Shell Manufacturer?

Has anyone done business with shenkshotshellco.com (Jake Shenk) in PA?

I think I saw something a couple of months ago about him but I paid it no attention. I'm sticking with Morris - he'll come through as soon as he can.

I'm more interested to know if anyone has actually seen product from them. From all of the forums and groups I follow, and all of the chatter this company has created, I would have expected to see someone say something about the shells they have in hand by now - considering they are "Now shipping pre-orders, heavy backlog". I am still after validation the company is real, to be frank.

I am confident they are real. I think they have been around for a while selling handgun ammo. I believe the shot shell aspect is new for them.

The word on the street is ''They are going to give RST a run for
their Money and Quality''

I spoke at length with Tim Hovey from AGC Ammo (678-428-8910) at the Southern. Very engageable young man from Atlanta. He claims the AGC 7/8oz 12ga 2 3/4" shells are under 5000PSI and 1150 fps, $12.00 per box. The shells are loaded for AGC custom in Turkey with Cheddite components. I shot a couple of box and they were fine.

Thanks everyone for the updates and comments. I ordered "The Grouse" April 11th (fully paid - caveat emptor?) and still waiting. Did get a reply from Jake that demand is exceeding production but would ship "end of this week"....two weeks ago. Morris seems to be doing the right thing.

I feel for those that don’t load and just buy factory as you’re between a rock and a hard place . Thankfully I do load just about everything I shoot and no I DO NOT load for others .

I don't load but have no issues getting shot shells. RST has 16 gauge currently. I have bought both 12 and 20 in the last six months. I don't think its a "the sky is falling" moment just yet.
