Default In Need of 2 Hammers

Hello,

I inherited a beautiful Parker Bros. side hammer shotgun from my father-in-law. It only has one hammer and I have been advised from others on the forum it is the incorrect hammer (Remington?).

Does anybody know someone on the forum who I might be able to purchase a pair of hammers and screws? I would really like to make this shotgun complete again. It otherwise appears very original and correct.

I am attaching pictures. Thank you very much for your help - it would mean a lot to get this gun back to being whole again.

-Marc

Sometimes hammers were removed for a safety reasons and not sure what your intentions are but have the barrels checked if you plan to shoot

Dave Fjelline makes new hammers and can have them engraved to order.

Right now I do not have a pair or used original hammers. I do have a couple sets of new cast hammers. They would need fitting and finishing. I thought I would mention it.

Pairs of Parker hammers are probably the most desireable part there is, and the chances of finding a pair that's exactly right is lottery winning proportions. I'd go with having a set made, if you're really serious about it.

I have 2 right side hammers. One looks finished and the other is not. Contact me if any one is interested. I will send pictures if asked.
