Bob, where are you staying in MN? We are in Northern Minnesota now until Sunday. Maybe we could connect over lunch or dinner at a local place.

Good shooting, and safe travels home. Leave me a few birds

Keep in touch about next year and we’ll try to meet you for lunch/dinner in Bemidji. We are having a good hunt. Finding birds if not getting many shots. The Northwoods is a special place.

Tell us about your pup!

Those are not mine but a friend up here.We are coming back for sure and are extending next years stay.
The griffons are young and it's my first time hunting over the breed.Slower and methodical which I like.Hold points and very easy to read as they wind a bird.

Had a awesome last day with over 30 birds flushed.Plenty of grouse and woodcock but I suspect the doodles will be leaving right behind me tomorrow if not tonight.

You guys are killing me!! Take Care and Enjoy one of Man's greatest pastimes; we are, out here in cyberland, thanks to you. It got to where I only would take a bird or two and then just enjoy Mother Nature, my Dogs, and a Good Friend. Now to figure out how to teach dogs not to pull tail feathers.

At least I can still navigate a few miles or so on a two track with a good dog.

Old Age Sucks!! Tom

Had a great time this season with good bird numbers and shot opportunities.
Hate to go but I can see the writing on the wall and it looks awful cold on the horizon.
