Default Vintage trap added to Mec's Great Northern SxS Classic

With the installation of 2 new trap fields progressing nicely at the MRC Sportsmans club. We are planing to add a vintage trap shoot to this years line up. Details to follow!!

Vintage Trap has to be single barrel muzzle loaders, makes that second shot on doubles a wee bit more challenging.

Old guys using old guns hence the vintage. It's just regular trap but with either a SXS or single barrel trap gun.

OK here is what we have come up with so far. Standard trap rules. Shoot one round from the 16yd line and the 2nd round you shoot from your score of the 1st round. Then add the 2 scores together for your score. So you score a 24 the 1st round then you shoot the 2nd round from the 24yd line and score a 23 your total score is 47. Guns must be SxS or single barrel and made before 1950.

This event will help fund the Scholastic Trap program. Not only fun but it's for the Children!!!!
