I handled the Damascus barreled 28 that Robin Hollow had a few years ago at the Southern. It was a very nice original condition gun. Had it been a straight grip I would have been very tempted!

Jay, the one I had is the only 24 28 gauge Damascus gun of ANY grade known to have been made.

And Jay's gun was one of a pair, ordered in 1900, which were the first 24" 28 ga.guns, of any grade. I purchased it from the original family. The other remains in that family.
