Put a necklace with a Kaitlyn charm around its neck and you will be OK.

Scott Several years ago a friend and I were hunting and he killed a small seven point in the velvet that was a doe. We were checked by the game warden and he was not given a ticket. We were told that does that grow antlers never lose the velvet. doe season was not open and season was for antlered deer and this one happened have horns. I have hundreds of dead deer, but that was only horned doe. Danny

And to flip that coin, what if you shoot a buck under your legally acquired buck tag, yet that buck is clearly effeminate? Now what?!?! Suppose that buck deer has lived its life trapped in a male body when it was clearly born with all the inner attributes of a doe? Will you go to jail for inadvertently violating the constrictions of the buck-only tag? Oh, this is gonna get ridiculous and in a hurry...

They both eat good when properly fixed, We have been canning deer for two days now, it is the best way to fix deer meat I believe. Cube meat up pack wide mouth jars half full put in 2 beef bullion cubes, finish packing the jar, wipe jar lip with vinegar, place in pressure cooker for 90 minutes, take out and cool. When eaten this is better than any stew beef! Gary

I agree Gary. I'm in the middle of eating a jar of some really good venison cubed and done the same way except that it is slightly pickled. Really good!!

Neck meat makes great venison stew chunks too.
