Not in the Serialization book and no info for letter from PGCA.

I can tell you that, if it is determined to be a safe shooter, it will make a great upland bird gun.

It was my grandfather Newell's gun. I believe that he bought it in Boston but that's all I know.

I picked up a VH 12 down in south Texas for my buddy. When he got the info back he found out it was bought from a candy store in Massachusetts. I know this info doesn’t help you but I find it fascinating that it was bought from a candy store up in Massachusetts.

Jeff,

Guns travel and we usually never know their story sadly. Also in Texas, I found a Model 11 Remington that had been converted to 3 inch Magnum by my fathers old gunsmith in Herrin, Illinois. Seller knew nothing about the gun other than it came from an "oil man".
