Default Stock Wax

Recently someone mentioned a paste wax available from Ace Hardware that was good for gun stocks. I can't remember the brand. Any help would be appreciated. I have used the CCl products, but am looking for something more readily available.

From what I know, the classic Johnson's Paste Wax is good as well and also for anything else made of wood.

My Dad used to mix Johnson's Paste wax with some bees wax and it made a nice hard wax for wood products.
